I came home from running a few errands this morning and put my purse on the chair beside the door. Well, we keep a very large pot (lobster pot) beside the chair for the dogs to drink out of. I kicked off my shoes and went running to “the facilities.” What can I say – Mother Nature does NOT like to wait! When I returned to the kitchen to put my shoes and purse away, I found that my purse had fallen into the big pot of water! What a mess! Water had splashed all over the floor, and everything inside my purse was soaking wet! My checkbook register is all blurred out, the pictures in my wallet of my kids are ruined, my notebook ruined, my address book ruined! Well, lesson learned – from now on put the purse on the FLOOR!
