A great recipe

We had a really good pot roast for supper last night. I cooked it in my crock-pot. I came home between my morning and afternoon school bus runs and put it in the crock-pot at 9:30am, let it cook until 5:30 pm. We had it with Mashed Potatoes and carrots. It made it’s own gravy, it was yummy! It was so tender, it just fell apart.
I love cooking with my crock-pot!
Found the recipe on the Internet, I’d love to share it with you.
I think it was called “Pot Roast to die for.”
1 – 3 or 4 pound beef roast (I used the cheapest I could find)
1 envelope brown gravy mix
1 envelope Italian dressing mix
1 envelope Ranch dressing mix
1/2 cup water.
Mix the gravy, Italian, and Ranch mixes together in a bowl. Put the roast in the bottom of the crock pot. (I used an oval crock-pot) Sprinkle the mix over the roast. Pour the water around the roast, put the lid on the crock-pot. Cook on low for 7-9 hours.
The whole family loved it!
