Buying gold

I’ve always been fascinated by the thought that lots of people buy gold coins and buy gold bullion as investments.  Many people think that gold coins are the only REAL safe investment.  I can remember going to the bank with my father as a child and going into the safe deposit room where he got his safe deposit box and showed me a couple of gold coins that he had bought.  At the time, all I could think of was “how pretty and shiny” they were!

I’ve been trying to convince my hubby to consider buying some gold coins ourselves when we have a few extra dollars.  I think it is a better investment than the stock market or real estate; especially in this crazy economy!  My brother recently told me to check out a very informative website about using gold as an investment – he told me that he is going to start a  gold ira since reading this website gave him a lot of information he didn’t understand before.  The website is the goldcoingains.com website.  I’ve been reading it over, and I’ve learned a lot from it!  A very good site; I’m going to ask my hubby to read it too; maybe then he’ll agree to invest in gold too!
