One of the things I am enjoying the most about driving a school bus lately is seeing all the signs of spring coming up. I am enjoying seeing the new flowers coming, the beautiful trees blooming, and all of the new babies! I get a good mix of driving in town and in the country, so I get to see the animal babies as well as the human babies. I can’t help it; I just LOVE babies! Especially the newborns! I like the fact that they can’t talk back to you, and that when you put them down they stay put!
My sister told me yesterday that my niece just discovered that she is pregnant. I am so excited because I love my niece like she was my own daughter. She spent a year living with me a few years ago when her parents were too ill to take care of her, so we are really very close. I can’t wait to help them pick out all of the great baby needs that they are going to need – like strollers, walkers, and car seats. One of the great things about the Internet is that I can find a picture of what I think would work out well, and send them the link and they can check it out too! And I can’t wait to buy some cute clothes for the baby! I’ve been browsing around the Internet and I have been surprised to find how many different baby carriers are on the market now! Many many more than when my kids were infants!
