With the price of everything going up so quickly, I’d like to try to find a place close to home to vacation. Oh sure, I love going to exotic and faraway places, but close to home is good too if you go to the right place and do the right things! The past few times I’ve flown somewhere with my hubby it has not been a pleasant trip. Let’s just say he has a “type A” personality and if things don’t go perfectly right, there is some unpleasantry going on!
I was very surprised to learn recently that we could have a great vacation within a day’s drive at a Myrtle Beach Resort. I’ve never been to Myrtle Beach, but I’ve heard that it is a popular vacation spot. My friend Natalie has gone there a few times and she recommends that we stay at a North Myrtle Beach Resort because that is a quieter side of the beach. She knows I like peace and quiet from time to time! Well, I’m a school bus driver – of course I’d like some peace and quiet! Natalie says that there are some really nice North Myrtle Beach Resorts that offer great accommodations but are close to a lot of activities, shows, and great restaurants. I’ll be putting Myrtle Beach on our list of possible vacation spots for sure!
