Different buses

It is so weird to be driving so many different school buses all of the time.  Every single one has its own personality, and when you are a substitute you never really get the chance to “get used to” any one of them.  Some are standards with clutches that are very touchy (and stall a lot of times!) and some clutches work smooth as silk.  Others are automatics, with air brakes.  I like the automatics the best because my legs don’t get so tired from having to work the clutch, but the automatics usually come with extra security alarms which are a pain in the neck to deal with!  You never know when you are driving an automatic when some crazy alarm is going to go off!  Another good thing about the automatics is that they have better climate control.  They don’t have air conditioning, but the heaters work better, which is a very good thing in the winter!
