As a substitute school bus driver, I have had the opportunity to go into a lot more public schools than many other people might. After all, there are times that I have to go to the office to talk to an administrator about problem bus riders, and there have been times when I go into the school to use the facilities in between bus runs. (Yeah, that’s right, use the facilities!)
One of the things that I find interesting between the different schools is the many different styles, colors, and shapes of the School Lockers that are there. It seems to me that when I was in high school, the Lockers assigned to the students were quite spacious and could accommodate winter coats, boots, many books, backpacks AND lunch boxes! And the Gym Lockers were large enough to keep your gym uniform, sneakers, deodorant, make-up and brush. But in today’s modern school, all of the lockers are only about 1/3 of the size that I had as a high schooler. I can’t imagine being able to put much of anything in a locker that small! Not even enough room for a coat!
There have been times that I’ve thought about trying to find some Lockers for sale and buy some nice looking Wood Lockers to put in my house near the back door. I think that it would be a good idea to have these for my family members for them to stash their belongings that they need when they go out the door.
