Today I had to drive into town to run some errands. On my way to one of the destinations I drove past the high school. I saw about a dozen school buses parked in the teacher’s parking lot near the road. I’m not used to seeing school buses in the teacher’s parking lot! I realized that this is where they will remain for the summer, waiting for school to begin again in August. But it looked so out of place, so odd, to see them there. I guess they are in summer hibernation!
