Already there

After we closed on the house, we went back to the house to look around and spend the night.  We had brought air beds with us and a few kitchen and bath essentials with us.  We figured that after all the money we spent on buying the house, we didn’t want to spend extra money on a hotel that night!

When we got back to the house and were looking around, I saw something on the wall of the master bedroom that I had not seen before.  It was a panel from ADT Security Company.  I had never looked at any Home Security Systems panels before!  Up to that point I had assumed that the house was in a safe neighborhood, and now I became a little bit concerned about that.  The next morning I went out and met one of my new neighbors and asked her about the neighborhood and if she had any kind of Home Security system set up.  She assured me that she felt very safe there and that the lady who lived in the house before us lived alone and was very elderly and just felt that she needed an alarm system.

Well, if we decide we want a system too, at least the panel is already there!  Maybe we’d get a price break if we have it activated!
