Don’t know if I have a run

Yesterday was the last day of the summer school bus run that I had.  I went into base and talked to the folks about whether or not I was going to have a run of my own this school year.  This school year starts less than a month from now, and it would be really nice to be able to plan my life a little bit!

I was sad to hear that they have not put together a run for me yet, and it looks as if I probably won’t have a run.  I’ll probably only be able to be a substitute again this year.  Although it is better than nothing, I was hoping to have a run of my own.  Being a sub is difficult because you never know from one day to the next if you have a run and where it will be taking you, whether the kids are peaceful or rowdy.

So, I’m disappointed.
