Got a summer gig

Got a call last night from Transportation offering me work for the rest of the month. Four days a week, four hours a day as an aide on a handicap bus. Well, of course I said YES! So I started this morning and was thrilled to find that the bus has air conditioning on it! YAY! The driver is very nice and she said that there are only a couple of days where we will have to deal with a wheelchair and that I will operate the lift and she will do the buckling. Well of course that was great to hear, too because the buckling part is the hard part! It worked out well, we drove for an hour, had a two hour layover and then drove for another hour. And then went home. I like it!
