I’d never heard of Skype before my youngest son went off to Europe this summer on an Internship. He told me to install Skype on my computer and to get a headset that has a microphone on it and we can talk to each other over the internet for free! Well, I installed it (it was easy) and sure enough we can talk to each other! For free! It’s not as convenient as a cordless telephone is, but hey, it’s free! And another cool feature is that it also acts like an instant messenger so we can just type quick little notes to each other. I really love it!
