A few days ago Sierra (11) and I were talking about horse books. I noticed that she was reading one of the Black Beauty books. I asked her how she liked it, and what other horse books she had read. She told me that she had read Misty of Chincoteague. I told her that was one of my favorite books! I asked her if she had read the sequel Sea Star, orphan of Chincoteague. She said she had never heard of it, and then she asked me if I had seen the movie Misty. I said no, I didn’t realize that they had made a movie of it!
