Last Friday I was asked to drive bus 478 for both the morning and afternoon runs for today. I said sure, and I showed up at the bus’s garage location at the time I needed to show up. Much to my surprise, the regular driver showed up too! We surmised that a scheduling error had ocurred and called base. She went off doing her run and I ended up driving to base where they sent me as an aide on a special education bus for the rest of the morning. Well, at least I’m getting paid!
