I love things that gleam, sparkle and shine. Copper, silver and gold are at the top of my list of favorite precious metals. I love to decorate the kitchen with copper kitchen bowls and utensils. I love to adorn my body with silver and gold. I’ve never met a woman who was upset by getting a pair of gold earrings or a pretty gold chain as a gift, either!
As well as looking pretty, though, gold is an investment choice. I was reading in the December 9, 2009 issue of Time magazine that investing in gold is a smart idea. I’ve suggested to my hubby on more than one occasion that if and when he gets any settlement money from his car accident that he might want to invest some of the money in gold bullion or coins. I think it is a wise choice.
